This is the Biography of Sister Maria Lucia of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart as compiled by the nuns who lived with her for many years in the Carmelite Monastery of Coimbra. Sister Lucia was the oldest shepherdess at Fatima who with Francisco and Jacinta had apparitions of our Lady in 1917. Her cousins died shortly after the apparitions but Lucia was chosen to spread the message of peace throughout the world in the turbulent twentieth century. As a carmelite nun, she was loved and respected in her cloister. Reading this biography gives us a new perspective of Lucia as seen through the eyes of her fellow sisters and reflects their personal knowledge of her life and writings. There are many books on Fatima, but this biography is by far the most revealing and contains information not found elsewhere. Highly Recommended.
